It's been ages since I last posted an entry here.. now I'm pre-occupied with work and farmville.. yep my sideline is "pagsasaka" in facebook :) It somehow eats up my time so I can set aside super unwanted stressful events in my life. I wish that things will change/improve a bit.. but I'm also happy that I still have Mike and my family with me.

I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovaries (after six months of not having my period) and was advised to take Diane35 (combined pill) for 3 months, somehow my condition improved and was left only with one cyst in my right ovary, but wait there's more! Sadly the side effect was there's a 2.4cm cyst found in my left ovary, so I was advised to stop the pill and take Duphaston for 15 days then repeat the ultrasound by October. Today was the first day that I took Duphaston but it gives me headaches or I'm not sure if I just didn't get enough sleep.. Browsing through the internet about the side effects of Duphaston didn't relieved me at all.. Weight gain, water retention, acne, rashes, severe headaches etc.. I suddenly felt that need to change my lifestyle and diet because I don't want to make things much worst.. but it's not that easy. Hay buhay! Research also shows that ovarian cysts are considered normal nowadays.. and it goes away din naman daw.. so ok.. let's wait and see..

For the meantime, I have to take extra care of myself..

Sourcing for telecom positions is such a struggle for me.. waaa dumudugo utak ko sa pag source ng telecom engineers with obviously technical qualifications.. For 3 years, I'm usually sourcing for admin/clerical posts, na minimum qualifications lang e good communication skills and at least computer literate.

I just can't believe that it has been almost 2 years since I last posted an entry in this site.. Time flies sabi nga nila, and I can say I'm back!! There are lots of things that I want to write but I can't do so in Multiply or Friendster kasi it's about work and ayokong mademanda with regards to revealing of confidential information, dahil friends ko sa multiply and friendster ang mga people involve. haha I feel safer here at least..

Speaking of demanda, I'm happy to announce that the case filed against me and the company and my client company, was dismissed by the National Labor Relations Commission. I'm so lucky that our SVP is very well-experienced and knows exactly what he needs to do to clear up this mess. *cheers*

Last Feb 13 (friday the 13th) one of our staff assigned in Cebu filed complaints to NLRC Cebu with the following grounds:

* non-payment of wage/salary
* below minimum wage
* illegal dismissal

To elaborate...

non-payment of wage/salary - his service phone was lost and according to the contract he will be liable for any loss or damage, so for the mean time, while all the documents are being processed, his salary will be on-hold until we determine how much we need to deduct from his salary.. and unfortunately this process takes time...

below minimum wage - since he started reporting for work his salary was below minimum because our Accounting department did not implement the wage order adjustment on time.. Unfortunately, his salary was adjusted from December 1-January 31, 2009 while the remaining days he rendered will be subjected to differential, which will be credited to his back pay.

illegal dismissal - this ground is questionable for me, because the fact that he is in contractual position, there is a huge possibility that his contract can end any time provided there is a just cause, and it was explained to him before he started. Their contract was extended supposedly up to March 31, 2009 but unfortunately the management of the client company has decided that they need to reduce the people to prioritize some clients and to maximize the efficiency of the people, and thus decided to end their contract last January 31, 2009. All of the concerned employees were informed through email, text, call, and of course formal recall letter.

It was really sad giving them the bad news that they will be removed from the plantilla.. It just so happen that this guy lost his service unit, so all his salary, cash advance, incentives and reimbursements where put on-hold.. and unfortunately it took a month in processing his documents then he decided that he needed to file the case.. and he likes me so much that he included my name in the case that he filed. *SIKAT!!*

Why me?? yan din tanong ko, the only reason I can think of... is because I'm the one who handles their account. I coordinate all their concerns, in-short I'm their point person. So the sad part in my job is that, other departments can make mistakes, they can slack of all they want, then of course I'm always there to absorb all the complaints from the employees and the clients, and resolve their issues. Saya diba?

Feb 20, I received a summon from the NLRC Cebu dated March 17, 2009 at 10am, to discussed this matter, our SVP represented the company and he happily informed me that he agreed to settle and so the cased was dismissed. yey!

Now I can sleep well at night. haha

Un lang naalala ko my lapses na ata memory ko tsktsk.. Outing na tayo! huhu

I was 8 years old back then...
so fascinated with the music that comes out in the strings of the piano..
so eager to learn how to play..
after a year I quit my piano lessons..
just because it gets in the way for my play time.
I was a kid.. i love to play..
my fascination to the melody of the piano was cut short because of the temptation of playing kalye games with my friends..
i learned the basics of playing the instrument..
it made me a better person...
knowing how to play the piano is part of me..
it occurred to me that I should have continued my piano lessons way back..
but I could not turn back time..
I'm not getting any younger..
My piano teacher is dead..

so promising that we built our dreams together..
after 6 years we broke up..
just because our relationship gets in the way for my work..
Im still a kid.. I still love to play...
my fascination for this guy was cut short because of the temptation of being inlove with another guy..
i learned the basics of loving..
it made me a better person..
He'll always be a part of me..
it occurred to me that i should get back to him to give our love endless 2nd chances..
but i still could not turn back time..
